FOUNDING PARTNERS WANTED
I'm looking for businesses to grow.
Because I don't grow unless you do. I don't want to advise from the sidelines or hand you an elaborate framework that you'll have to implement alone.
I want to roll up my sleeves, look under the hood and help build the next chapter of your business.
Melanie M.
Former Client
I've already started making more money as a result... In fact, it feels like every time I talk to Alyssa, I make more money in the following week as a result.
She is truly talented, utterly professional, as well as reliable, dedicated, creative... It is probably the best investment I have made in my business so far.
DeAlva A.
Former Agency Client
Alyssa was a valuable contributor to our business development efforts. We appreciated her strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and dedication to supporting our team's goals.
Tired of wondering where your next clients are coming from?
Customers pay you. People depend on you. You've proven the business works.
But now you've reached that weird stage where "keep doing what we've been doing" isn't really a growth strategy.
Maybe your biggest client is way too big a percentage of your revenue.
Maybe referrals have kept the lights on for years, but you have no idea where the next ten clients are coming from.
Maybe you've spotted an enormous new market — government, enterprise, a new vertical — and don't know how to break into it.
Maybe you've hired salespeople. Tried outbound. Joined associations. Chased RFPs. Started content. Talked about partnerships.
You’ve got momentum, but new business still feels unpredictable.
And meanwhile, you're still running the actual company.
That's the kind of business I'm looking for.
Here's the unusual part
I'm not looking for people to coach.
I'm looking for a handful of businesses I can get inside and help build.
We figure out where the real growth opportunities are. We decide what deserves a bet.
Then we start putting the systems in place: research, pipeline, positioning, partnerships, outreach, people — whatever your business really needs to start bringing in consistent revenue.
And then we find out what actually works.
Because I'm not particularly interested in handing you a beautiful strategy deck, waving goodbye and riding off into the sunset.
I want to be around to see what happens next.
So... what's in it for me?
This is where it gets interesting.
I've spent 16+ years helping organizations build audiences, find opportunities, win business and make things happen.
Now I'm experimenting with a different way of doing business.
I want to work closely with good companies and put what I know behind their growth.
Because the better the companies I work with do, the better my business does.
Your results become my results. Your success becomes my proof. Your growth becomes part of what grows my business.
Which gives me a pretty compelling reason to care what happens to yours.
That's the model I'm building.
Here's how it works
First, we put your business on the table.
I'm inviting selected founders to a complimentary private working session. There will be no pitch deck and no canned 7 Pillars of Growth framework.
You tell me
- Where your revenue comes from now.
- Where you want it to come from next.
- What's already working.
- What's keeping you awake.
- The opportunities you're circling.
- The things you've tried.
We'll Uncover:
- Your biggest growth opportunities right now.
- What's getting in the way.
- What you're overlooking.
- What's worth pursuing and what isn't worth your time.
- Some solid, implementable next steps.
Then we'll see if there's something worth building together.
There is no charge for this session.
And no requirement to work together afterward. I'm looking for fit just as much as you are.
A little about the person you'd be letting into your business

Hi. I'm Alyssa. I've been building businesses for nearly 16 years.
The newspaper
I started my career as a journalist. At one point, I started a newspaper. I found the stories, built the audience, managed the writers, sold ads and published the thing. I learned firsthand that building something people genuinely like does not automatically mean you've built a business that grows.
That lesson stuck.
Marketing and Business Development
I put the paper to bed and started a solo business providing communications, marketing, business development for public sector agencies and impact driven organizations. I helped them find audiences, pursue opportunities, build relationships, develop partnerships and win work.
I helped secure over $100 million in new business for organizations I supported.
I've helped companies navigate government opportunities ranging from relatively modest contracts to major public-sector pursuits.
Now I'm putting everything I've learned behind a different kind of growth practice, one where your success becomes part of mine.
I'm not looking for every business.
I'm interested if you've already got:
- ✓Something people genuinely pay for
- ✓Enough traction to know there's a business here
- ✓A meaningful growth ambition
- ✓A growth problem you haven't quite cracked
- ✓A willingness to actually try things
You do not need a beautifully organized sales department.
Frankly, if you had all this figured out, we probably wouldn't have much to talk about.
You just need something worth growing.
What happens if we hit it off?
We meet. We pull the business apart. We find the interesting bits. And we decide whether there's a bigger experiment here.
Maybe there isn't.
You still get a serious working session focused entirely on your business.
But maybe we both come out thinking:
There's something here.
That's what I'm looking for.
Real businesses, real growth problems
Let's see what we can build.
Tell me what you've built, where you want to take it, and what's standing in the way.
